Galerie Le Container is a gallery specializing contemporary art. It exhibits around twenty emerging and established artists. It strives to ensure that a portion of its selection represents local artists.

Genesis / A contemporary & urban art gallery like no other
A contemporary art gallery born in 2016 in shipping containers, Galerie Le Container was originally a concept imagined by Déborah Bosseaux and Clément Dorance, contemporary art enthusiasts and professionals. Over a period of 3 years, it travelled from city to city, introducing street art to amateurs and novices alike. The interior of the containers, transformed into a contemporary art gallery, houses an exhibition of unique and original works. The outside walls of the containers are gradually covered with graffiti, tags, collages and stencils by the artists on display. Each exhibition becomes an architectural and monumental work of art in the heart of the city.

Sedentary living / An attractive contemporary art gallery in Aix-en-Provence
In 2019, the gallery grows and settles first in Nice before moving to the heart of the historic center of Aix-en-Provence, rue Granet. As for the containers, they will occasionally return to meet the public for off-site exhibitions.

Artistic Selection / Big names and emerging artists
The artistic selection features some twenty artists from the urban and contemporary movements. Galerie Le Container aims to promote both major international names and talented young artists. Each artist stands out for the singularity of his or her style, message or technical level.
