Description
This GR, with its evocative name, passes along the southern border of the Mercantour national park, through medium altitude mountain ranges.
This route explores the Haut Pays through six different valleys: Colmars and its fortifications, the Val d'Entraunes and its pastoralism, Roure and its red rocks, Saorge overlooking the Vallée de la Roya and Tende and La Brigue, fiefs of the Lascaris family.The route can be finished in 15 days depending on the length of stopovers.
