The town of Sanary sur Mer is located in the north of the bay of the same name. The marina is nestled in the heart of the city.
It is a typical Provençal port as there are not many more on the Var coast.
It houses a small fleet of Provençal spikes that fishermen use to practice the "small trade". They sell their fish every day on the dock as soon as they return to port. The port is sheltered from all winds except the southwest wind, which generates a strong swell in the port. Daytime access is not a problem.
