With a stunning view of La Meije and the Buffe Valley, the southfacing village of Chazelet is both scenic ans sunny. It offers a small alpine ski area that is perfect for families and beginners.
On the panoramic slopes of Chazelet you will find all you need: from green slopes to fresh tracks to be made. This little ski resort is ideal both for starting off and for improving. On the 450 m of vertical down from the Emparis plateau even more seasoned skiers will enjoy themselves on powder days.
There is a ski school, a kids' area, a sledging slope and a heated picnic room. From the terrace of the Chalet des Plagnes restaurant you can watch your children enjoying themselves on the slopes.
The ski area is located 3 km from La Grave and 5 km from Villar d'Arène. There are free shuttle buses during the New Year's week and during the French winter school holidays.
