With a stunning view of La Meije and the Buffe Valley, the southfacing village of Chazelet is both scenic ans sunny. It offers a small alpine ski area that is perfect for families and beginners.

On the panoramic slopes of Le Chazelet you'll find everything from green runs to fresh tracks. This reassuring little resort offers ideal terrain for beginners and advanced skiers alike, with a 450 m vertical drop on the red run down from the Plateau d'Emparis. On fine powder days, freeriders of all stripes will find plenty to enjoy here too! At the foot of the slopes you'll find a ski school, a kindergarten, a toboggan run and a heated hors sac room. At Chalet des Plagnes you can enjoy a cup of chocolate, pancakes or a hot meal. From the terrace you can watch your children on the slopes. Just 3km from La Grave and 5km from Villar d'Arène, the Chazelet resort is accessible by free shuttle bus during New Year's week and the February/March vacations. Ski instruction from age 4
