Description
A short tour of the hamlets of Arvieux, amid the valley’s gentle hills, beautiful overlooks, and forest trails typical of the Queyras region.
From the village, the trail winds its way along small roads and forest paths. As you emerge from the forest, the view opens up onto the alpine pastures, offering sweeping vistas of the surrounding peaks. Once you reach Brunisard, the route follows narrower, terraced trails. On the descent, you’ll pass through a series of hamlets, each with its own character: traditional houses, sundials, and small wayside shrines. This architectural heritage reflects a subtle adaptation to mountain life, where every detail serves a purpose.
The trail is open to the public year-round. It is accessible depending on weather and snow conditions. You should therefore be equipped accordingly.
