An easy and enjoyable walk for you, your partner or the whole family along the Espace Naturel des Vieux Salins d'Hyères.

This easy trail invites you to discover the protected natural area of the Salins d'Hyères, a veritable sanctuary where many water birds find refuge. The trail starts at the western end of Plage Miramar and follows yellow markers along the edge of this unspoilt environment. Along the way, you can spot pink flamingos, stilts, terns and other migratory birds, while admiring the typical vegetation such as glasswort. What's more, the trail offers exceptional views of the islands of Porquerolles and Port-Cros from the coastline. Did you know? You can visit the nature reserve at the old salt pans in Hyères. PRATICAL INFORMATION: Parking: Baie des Isles car park Bicycles are not allowed on the trail ADVICE AND RECOMMENDATIONS: Bring hiking shoes or trainers, water, hat or cap. - Always keep informed of weather conditions. - In the event of an emergency, call 112. - The use and parking of all motorised vehicles on DFCI roads is prohibited all year round.
