Cycling with the Club Cycliste Ubaye.
The "Trois Cols" event is the gold standard when it comes to cycling in the Ubaye Valley. It dates back to 1975 and is held every summer, on the first Sunday in August.
This ride may be non-competitive and open to all, but it has to be earned!
Firstly, because its altitude difference of 3,340 m means that it is best suited to well-trained cyclists.
Secondly, because it follows part of the legendary Tour de France stage that saw Bernard Thévenet beat Eddy Merckx to Pra Loup in 1975.
An ideal playground between Haute-Provence, Verdon and Var, to test your pedalling skills in the best climbing conditions.
