This sunny route leads up to the dôme de l'Alp. On arrival, you’ll be greeted by a superb panoramic view of the Ubaye Valley.
Families should opt to take the chairlift up and then enjoy a pleasant walk down with their children.
Ascent by chairlift: take a one-way pedestrian ticket from the Rente ticket office.
At the top of the chairlift, head for the start of the ‘Les Bergères’ ski lift, the smaller of the two, on the right. Below this lift is a wooden hut, which is the departure point. Cross it, keeping level and following the orange markers.
At the end of this long traverse, all the way downhill to a stone building under which starts the little path you have to take (pretty wooden hut on your left) to the crossroads of the piste, cross it paying attention to the skiers coming to your right and continue downhill following the markers.
Here you will come to a small path through the woods that will take you to La Rente. At the end of this path, you'll see a stone house in front of you and, further down on the right, the start of the chairlift you came up on.
