Description
This third stage is long, difficult but magnificent. The wild and unspoilt landscapes of the Mercantour National Park are breathtaking.
From the Col d'Allos, the route crosses the Baisse de Prenier and continues into the Haut Verdon valley and the Mercantour National Park. After a long traverse along the ridge, the climb up the Bouchier valley with its waterfalls is magnificent. After crossing the Petit Col de Talon, return to the Ubaye valley by following the Grande Cayolle ravine and then the Bachelard to Bayasse.
