Description
At the Trou de l'Argent cave, you will have a beautiful panoramic view of the plains south of Sisteron. A plaque from 1865 praises the courage of Sisteron's people in 1562.
Access : On road D4 after the bridge of la Baume
GPS : N 44°12’6’’ - E 005°56’49’’
Alternative path : after crossing the Trou de l'Argent you can reach the top of La Baume.
Bring a flashlight for the Trou de l'Argent.
Caution: high and steep parts, not recommended for people with vertigo. A road is available with a cable to reach the top. Can be closed in summer (risk of fires).
