Beautiful challenging hike to reach the ridge of Roc de l'Aigle and its view overlooking the Pays du Buëch and the Jabron Valley. The difficulty of the hike increases all along, up to the ridge.
- TipsYou can drive part of the way to "Les Charles" to shorten the hike.
It is said that barbarians used to throw unfaithful women off the top of Pierre Impie Rock. It seems more likely, however, that "Pierre Impie" is a corruption of "Pierre Pic."
The climb up to Pierre Impie Rock is quite steep.
Some steep sections require the use of your hands.
The descent to Les Charles is a steep trail through the woods.
