1 place de la République, 04200 Saint-Geniez

Description

Pleasant family stroll starting from the Pierre Écrite (Written Stone), which was engraved in the 6th century in memory of the passage of Dardanus, prefect of Gaul and ardent Christian, who came to the valley to found a “City of God”.
  • Tips
On the way, 500 m before reaching the departmental road, on the right, there is a large hollow oak tree in which a stranger once placed a statue of the Virgin together with a small notebook on which one can leave a trace of one's passage there. (Look out! In Summer there may be a snake enjoying the shade!)
