Description
The panorama of Lake Serre-Ponçon, as much as the beauty of the lakes and the diversity of the landscapes encountered make this hike, on the borders of the Ubaye and Blanche valleys, an essential itinerary in the Alpes de Haute-Provence .

At Lac Noir, it is possible to go down to Lac du Milieu, whose banks lined with larch trees, crossing the pastoral mountain of Col Bas offers a completely different landscape, whose plant and animal richness is exceptional. The climb to the summit is via an old military track which follows the side of the mountain.
