  • Starting from Briançon station, which can be reached by train with your bike in a carriage from Argentière-la Bessée (ask at the station), the route quickly joins the markings of the Grande Traversée des Hautes-Alpes (GTHA) and the Grand Tour des Ecrins (GTE), which it follows almost to the end of the route.

    The path leaves the GTHA/GTE above Champcella, which must be reached. Pass near the Gourfouran abyss, then the Roche-de-Rame and finally l'Argentière-la-Bessée
