Based at the 3 star Hotel Auberge Edelweiss, a privately owned centuries old coaching inn situated in the heart of the 12th century village of La Grave, you can choose each day a different gourmet ride through the stunning alps. The rides bring you to local farms where you visit the producers and taste locally made cheese one day, or you cycle to a small local brewery and taste beer made with Alpine water another day... we have a wide range of gourmet cycling routes for you.
You are cycling on a high end full suspension e-mountain bike, which allows you to have some relaxed days of epic cycling, soak up the stunning mountain views while pedaling leasurely through and up the mountains and enjoy well deserved lunch stops or pique niques on the way. The auberge is perfectly located amidst the legendary cols of the Tour de France. So with the e-bike you can even conquer one of those cols before returning to your base and sit back on the hotel terrace, indulge delicious food, a nice glass of wine and watch those breathtaking sunsets over the La Meije peaks and glaciers.

- TipsIn our well-equipped bike workshop we have all the necessary equipment to prepare your bikes before tucking into the mountain, and bikes can be parked safely at the end of the day. If spare parts of your bike are missing or need to be replaced, a bike shop with whom we work, can provide them for the next day. We also have a place where you can wash your bikes and where your clothes can dry.
2 charging stations for electric cars are present at the Edelweiss. A terminal for the Tesla brand vehicles, a second terminal for any other electric car.
