If you love to leasurely ride your bike, soak up the stunning mountain views and finish the day with a good glass of wine, then this is your kind of trip.

Based at the 3-star Auberge Edelweiss, a former coaching inn in the heart of the 12th-century village of La Grave, you can choose a different "gourmet" walk through the magnificent Alps every day. One day, the outings take you to local farms, where you'll meet producers and taste freshly made cheeses. The next day, pedal off to a small local brewery and taste beer brewed with alpine water... we have a wide selection of cycling and gourmet itineraries for you. You'll set off on a top-of-the-range all-suspension VAE, allowing you to spend days in total freedom and at your own pace, enjoying the breathtaking views while pedaling leisurely through the mountains, not forgetting well-earned lunch breaks, or picnics along the way. The hostel is perfectly situated in the middle of the Tour de France's legendary mountain passes. So, with the electric bike, you can even conquer one of these cols before returning to bask on the hotel terrace, savoring the delicious cuisine with a fine glass of wine and watching those breathtaking sunsets over the peaks and glaciers of La Meije. These tours are for anyone with cycling experience and who feel comfortable on a bicyle, and who like to combine the beauty of our mountains with the pleasure of good food and a nice glass of wine.

Tips
In our well-equipped bike workshop we have all the necessary equipment to prepare your bikes before tucking into the mountain, and bikes can be parked safely at the end of the day. If spare parts of your bike are missing or need to be replaced, a bike shop with whom we work, can provide them for the next day. We also have a place where you can wash your bikes and where your clothes can dry.

2 charging stations for electric cars are present at the Edelweiss. A terminal for the Tesla brand vehicles, a second terminal for any other electric car.
