A deep dive into the world of green building with three days of training to learn how to design your own eco-friendly home – an experience at the crossroads of innovation and sustainability. Accommodation in an eco-gîte with stunning views.
A three-day training course with a green building expert to explore sustainable materials and environmentally friendly techniques, to understand the fundamentals of healthy and high-performance architecture, to exchange ideas with passionate professionals, and to put your ideas into practice through hands-on workshops. Alongside experts in the field, discover the impact of every decision – from the choice of materials to the building’s siting – to create a harmonious and resilient home. You’ll leave with a solid foundation, design ideas tailored to your plot, and the opportunity to continue with bespoke support. This course is much more than an introduction: it’s the starting point for your project. Six-month support programmes are available (discount on The training programme is aimed at anyone wishing to design a home using natural materials. It drastically reduces design time and brings together, in one place, in-depth information provided by over 20 recognised experts on bioclimatic design, the biophilic approach, space optimisation, healthy materials, energy self-sufficiency, and considerations regarding usage and living comfort. You will be staying in a fully equipped 4-star eco-friendly holiday cottage, overlooking the mountains of the Haute-Provence Geopark in a stunning natural setting, from Friday at 4 pm to Monday at 10 am (excluding July and August). Meals are not included; please bring picnics for Saturday and Sunday. There are restaurants nearby for dinner, or a caterer can deliver meals to the cottage. Discounts are available for accompanying guests not taking part in the training; there are plenty of options for day trips around Digne-les-Bains.
