Gap-Bayard Golf

Located at the gates of Champsaur, at the Bayard pass, the Golf of Gap-Bayard welcomes golf lovers in summer with its 18-hole course. Discover an idyllic setting, with typical alpine landscapes alternating between fir forests, fields and flowery meadows, peaks that are all in harmony with the clouds.

The 18-hole course

Imagined and designed by the architect Hugues Lambert, the 18-hole course has attracted many golfers who want to practice their favorite sport in a forest and mountain setting teeming with life. With wide fairways offering beautiful lengths, and elevation gains that add a challenge, it is certainly one of the most beautiful mountain courses offered in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. While some holes are accessible to all, others represent a real challenge for everyone, including experienced players. The fairways and greens are carefully maintained for an even more intense playing pleasure.

The driving range allows you to warm up or work on your swing.

Summer, autumn, winter, spring

The Gap-Bayard Oxygenation Center offers many activities to vacationers throughout the year.

In the summer, various nature activities await nature lovers. Two marked running trails, one of 3.5 km and the other of 6.5 km, allow you to enjoy the pure air of the Champsaur, with the backdrop of the Vieux Chaillol and the summits of the Ecrins. A grassy playground welcomes team sports (soccer, rugby…).

In winter, the infrastructures of the Gap-Bayard golf course welcome a Nordic area for the practice of cross-country skiing, ski touring, snowshoeing and fat bike, bikes adapted to the snow.

Services and facilities

The Oxygénation center offers rooms, family areas and dormitories for full or half-board accommodation in a warm and friendly atmosphere that honors mountain hospitality.

Every day, the restaurant offers a new dish on its menu, alongside classic Champsaur dishes: gratins of ravioli, tourtons, raspberry or blueberry tarts, plates of cold meats, local rib steak…

Practical information

Golfers who are just passing through can opt for an individual or couple green-fee, valid for the complete 18-hole course or for 9 holes. Season passes valid for the season are also available.
