Etape 1The Greenest of GreensPlay a round in Brignoles, the heart of Provence Verte

Designed by esteemed designers Pete and PB Dye, Barbaroux Golf Course is one of the more challenging places to play in France. Its natural woodland setting will seduce golf fans—as will its charming hotel. In the evening, immerse in a more Provençal atmosphere by spending the night at the Hostellerie de l’Abbaye de la Celle, whose refined setting is helmed by chef Alain Ducasse.

Etape 3Take FiveEnjoy wine, fish, and flowers in between tee times

Provence is a feast for the senses. Smell the flowers at the Domaine du Rayol’s Jardin des Méditerrannées, the lush botanical gardens blooming with flora from around the world. Head to Le Lavandou’s Chez Jo for fresh fish and bouillabaisse on the Med’s best patio. Sample cru classés vintages at the family-run 1932 Château de l’Aumerade winery. Relax besides the rooftop pool at the Grand Hotel Dauphiné in Toulon. Their poolside breakfast is also magical!

Etape 4Tee Off by the SeaEverything is better besides the Mediterranean

Ride a cable car to Toulon’s Mont Faron to retrace WW2 history at the Mémorial du Débarquement. Descend back to sea level at Dolce Frégate Golf Provence, whose prime location gives golf enthusiasts views of the sea.  Don’t miss their buggy golf course tour with a sunset apéro at the 18th hole.
