In 1970, the Riché family bought an estate they named Domaine Riché. A few years later, the Baban estate was added to it after an inheritance.
The 11 hectares on the estate are located in the Châteauneuf du Pape designation area (in the Bois Lauzon and Mourre de Baud districts). 90 % of the wines are sent to wine dealers.
