Michèle Blanc

Having qualified as a master craftswoman passionate about ceramics, Michèle decided to set up a workshop in 1977 with her husband. Over time, her daughter and granddaughter joined the business bringing their expertise, modern ideas and top-quality craftsmanship with them. Melissa, the granddaughter, has recently been awarded a gold medal for her decoration on faïence in the ‘région du Sud’ (southern region) category.
The workshop’s main attribute is that everything it produces is made entirely by hand and comes in a variety of shapes and motifs in either a contemporary or traditional 17th or 18th century style.
Michèle’s primary concern is to see that the faïence of Moustiers will stand the test of time and that she plays her part in keeping this traditional art, that has been around for thousands of years, going from strength to strength.
