    Prep your holiday at Barcelonnette by contacting the Barcelonnette Tourist Office on +33(0)4 92 81 04 71, or head over to Place Frédéric Mistral in the heart of town. You can also browse the Barcelonnette website where you’ll find plenty of info including maps, activities, entertainment, etc.

    Shops & Restaurants

    Pick your favourite terrace or pore over the menus of the town’s many restaurants offering a variety of moods and dishes. Le Gaudissart boasts gorgeous views over the “Chapeau de Gendarme“, plus mouth-watering beef stew and tripe & trotters. Master Restauranteur Christophe at Le Cheval Blanc concocts delicious dishes with fresh seasonal produce. And in summer, you can visit the farmer’s market every Monday, or head over to Barcelonette’ssemi-covered market every Wednesday and Saturday morning to stock up on fresh produce.
