Ski slopes for all levels in Le Chazelet
In Le Chazelet, the ski area is perfect for each family member to improve their skiing skills. In winter, there are 8 kilometers of green, blue and red slopes between 1,740 meters to 2,170 meters of altitude at the summit. They are accessible by ski lifts (chairlift and drag lift) and are a real playground for skiers. The French Ski School (ESF) gives group or private skiing and swowboarding lessons to everyone from 3 years old. On the snow front, an area is dedicated to first time alpine skiers. The resort is only 5 kilometers away from the village of Villar d’Arène and 3 kilometers away from La Grave where experienced freeride enthusiasts can descend the Vallons de La Meije. You can easily reach these resorts if you are looking for more difficult slopes or want to go riding down high-mountain off-piste.
