François Doucet has been a confectioner in Oraison since 1969, and offers a range of chocolate sweets made with first-class products (fruits from Provence and chocolate from fair trade). And what about choosing, along with the traditional Easter eggs and bells, this year, chocolate-coated almonds or cereals. Want a bit of colour? With the candied oranges or lemons with the two chocolates, the “Perles Cassis” or “Amour de cerises”, this Easter will be a real rainbow.

When they came back from the Congo 30 years ago, the couple who founded the company set up this chocolate factory in an former factory. The brand now has around fifteen shops perfect for stocking up on ballotins, Easter boxes, bars and spreads

Fresh Ventoux truffle, caramel, Sichuan pepper and cardamom. Joël Durand’s chocolates are subtle mouthfuls of  flavours. Compositions lovingly concocted in his workshops and which vary according to the seasons. Established in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence since 1996, its shop is heaven for sweet-lovers: besides its delicious chocolates, you can find bars of dried fruit, jams and even caramel and lavender-perfumed eaux de parfum.

You will be able to (re)discover the specialities which made the house’s fame: pure butter sablés, navettes, calissons, nougats, berlingots and candied fruits. And the little extra? Péchés Gourmands is committed to an eco-responsible approach, with biodegradable or recyclable packaging.

In the shop, multicoloured fruits side by side with scrumptious chocolate: truffles, orangettes, filled chocolates, chocolate-coated hazelnuts or almonds, pralines… At La Confiserie Saint-Denis, there’s something to suit all tastes.

In Barcelonnette, in the Ubaye valley, Maison Padiou makes chocolates with first class cocoas from Tanzania, Peru and Brazil. Feuillantines, palais d’or, orangettes, in dark or milk chocolate version… Everything is absolutely delicious! And it’s also the perfect moment to give in to temptation and buy a pastry, a panettone with candied fruit or a “Délice alpin”: a caramel tart with honey, Grenoble walnuts and hazelnuts from the Piedmont.

More than just delicious, Luc Eyriey‘s chocolates are a real pleasure for the eyes. The chocolatier has developed his own style and his creations look as if they are straight out of a cartoon.
