Geological Reserve of Haute-Provence

Provence has kept in its soil the memory of several hundred million years. Visit tourist sites unique in the world, such as the ammonite slab at Digne-les-Bains, which contains more than 1,550 fossils over an area of 320 m2, the ichtyosaurus stroll at Robine-sur-Galabre, with fossils of marine animals evolving around 185 million years ago, or the valley of the sirenians, which has fossilized skeletons 40 million years old…
