The Sunday Market
Every Sunday morning, until early afternoon, fairgrounds, artisans, producers and market gardeners set up their stalls on the Place de l’Escalet and on the Promenade du Littoral. Food products, clothes, household items, toys and other accessories and objects are displayed there.

The Evariste Gras Square market
Under the plane trees, facing the facade of the Lumière cinema, a market takes place every Tuesday morning on the Place Évariste Gras. The food market welcomes market gardeners and local producers and allows you to discover the fruits, vegetables, cheeses and culinary specialties of Provence. Fairgrounds also offer clothing and fashion accessories, objects for the home, toys and miscellaneous items.

The organic producers’ market and products
A producers’ market is held every Sunday in the Old Port. Fruits, vegetables, poultry, eggs, cheese, pastries, locally produced specialties and sweets are offered to customers, who can experience the flavors of Provence and the Mediterranean while exchanging with passionate farmers.

The fish market
Bathed by the Mediterranean Sea, La Ciotat is as much a tourist destination as it is a fishing port. Every morning, the fishermen sell their catch of the night. Seafood lovers can buy fresh sardines, sea bream, scorpion fish and red mullet.

Night Market
Every summer, La Ciotat organizes a night market that enlivens the evenings on the waterfront. Take advantage of the coolness at the end of the day to stroll through the alleys and discover artisanal products, regional specialties, jewelry, creations and handicrafts, clothing presented by machands and craftsmen on about a hundred stands. Numerous restaurants and bars welcome you for a gourmet break or a friendly moment.
