Lake St. Croix

Fed by the Verdon river, the lake of Sainte-Croixis the third largest lake in France.you want to rent a boat, a kayak? Do you want to try your hand at jet skiing? Sainte-Croix offers many nautical activities.

The water sports centre of Bauduen offers a wide range of water sports: catamaran, small sailboat, canoe, kayak, windsurfing, paddle… A large pebble beach welcomes bathers and sunbathers.

The Gorges du Verdon

From the marriage between the Verdon river, the limestone rock and the azure sky of Provence was born the Verdon. The landscapes here are preserved and wild: deep valleys or wide agricultural valleys, forests… Nature also offers a wide variety of activities : walking, mountain biking, horse riding, via ferrata, paragliding, tree climbing…

The villages and monuments of the Park also appeal to vacationers: historical milestones, wells, wash houses, castles, oppidums… The heritage of the Verdon also awaits you. The most beautiful villages around Bauduen

You’ll love strolling through the village of Bauduen, discovering its old houses, squares and narrow streets.

There are many other villages within easy reach of Bauduen. For example, Tourtour, one of France’s most beautiful villages, is around 25 kilometres away.

The village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie is also one of France’s most beautiful villages, around 30 kilometres away.

You can also follow the Gorges du Verdon tourist route to the small town of Castellane. This small town is overlooked by the Notre-Dame du Roc chapel, built on top of a cliff.
