La Croix-Valmer beaches

South of Saint-Tropez, La Croix-Valmer is a charming seaside resort nestled in the heart of sumptuous landscapes. Lovers of sunshine and swimming meet every year on the beaches or in the secret creeks, or multiply the nautical activities.

The Gigaro Beach

A real gateway to the customs officers’ path and the areas protected by the Conservatoire du Littoral. Holidaymakers can bask in the sun, enjoy the beneficial shade of the pines that line the sandy expanse, and swim in complete safety thanks to the presence of a first-aid post that is active in the summer. The Landing Beach

It is hard to imagine that here, in August 1944, Allied troops landed on this square to liberate Provence and France. Today, the Landing Beach is a truly paradisiacal place, with a beautiful stretch of fine sand and a sheltered location at the bottom of a large bay. Lifeguard ensure the surveillance of the beach in season. A pontoon provides regular connections to the Îles d’Or and Saint-Tropez. Persons with reduced mobility benefit from privileged access. Holidaymakers will also find private beaches, mattress rentals and leisure providers on site.

Les Brouis : a paradise that has to be earned

Accessible by taking the coastal path or by boat, this wild beach is well deserved. A true haven of peace in the heart of landscapes preserved by the Conservatoire du Littoral, it offers a total change of scenery with its sparkling blue waters and pine forests. Take water with you and respect this unique place, with its beautiful flora and fauna.

Waterfront paradise

Other beaches welcome lovers of the Big Blue at La Croix-Valmer.

Covered with fine sand, the beach of Heracles enjoys a privileged exposure facing south. Sunrises and sunsets are magnificent, and it is possible to have waterfront lunch or dinner thanks to the presence of restaurants.

La Briande is located near Cap Taillat. Before or after a refreshing dip in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea, you can stroll under the pine trees or in the middle of the vineyards, or take a portion of the coastal path.

Nautical Activities

Several nautical activities contribute to the tourist offer of this seaside resort with its picturesque charm. Between leisure and relaxation, the paddle is a playful activity that appeals to parents and children. The seaside resort also attracts thrill-seekers: jet-ski rental, flyboard, wakeboard, windsurf, parasailing, flyfish… The Posidonia meadows and the fish of the Mediterranean coast can be admired during an initiation to scuba diving, or by swimming in apnea. The straw huts appeal to a wide public, with varied atmospheres and a view of the sea.
