The Madrague
This small sandy beach is located east of Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer, near a lovely little village with a fishing port. A handicapped access is provided, and adapted chairs are available at the first-aid post, which also ensures the safety of bathers in summer.
Playgrounds, showers and sanitary facilities complete the range of services on offer. It is also possible to rent canoes and kayaks on site.
A walk along the waterfront allows you to stroll while admiring the enchanting landscapes of the bay. It is also possible to follow the customs officer’s trail that leads to Port d’Alon.
The calanque of Port d’Alon
This exceptional natural site also shelters a beautiful small pebble beach. It is also possible to settle down in a secluded area or under the pines. A marine trail allows you to admire the particularly rich fauna and flora of the Mediterranean Sea, in the company of an eco-guide. A large parking lot (sometimes full in the heart of summer) facilitates access to the cove.
It is possible to reach La Madrague from Port d’Alon by the customs officers’ path, or by a charming path passing through the heart of the vineyards (a two-hour walk is recommended).
