The most beautiful villages in France

The hilltop village of Gordes benefits from the label “Plus beaux villages de France” . With its castle, narrow streets and old houses, it has an exceptional historical heritage enhanced by a remarkable natural setting.

Discover nearby the village of Les Bories or the abbey of Sénanque, one of the three Cistercian sisters of Provence.

In the heart of the village, the castle was rebuilt in the 16th century. During its long history, it was used as a prison. It has become a place of culture and now hosts temporary exhibitions.
