The Comtat Venaissin

Robion, located in the Luberon, was part of the Comtat Venaissin, a territory that belonged to the popes until the French Revolution. From Mont-Ventoux to Cavaillon, from Bollène to Bonnieux, this territory served as the hinterland of Avignon. Many historical monuments, picturesque villages and landscapes shaped by the cultivation of the vine have survived from this prosperous period.

The Luberon Regional Nature Park

The Luberon Regional Nature Park owes its popularity to its remarkable natural areas. Between vineyards, meadows and forests, valleys and mountains, a wonderful playground opens up to you. During your hikes, you will be able to meet a little less than 300 species of vertebrates. Birdwatchers can observe Bonelli’s eagle, a particularly rare bird of prey. The Luberon can also be explored on a bicycle.
