Walking through the streets, you can admire houses from the 17th and 18th centuries.

You will be seduced by the charm of this popular village, which offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding area. You can also discover, nearby, the ochre mines of Colorado Provençal of Rustrel.

The Luberon Regional Nature Park

The establishment of the Luberon Natural Park was essential in view of the varied landscapes it shelters. Between vineyards, meadows and wooded areas, valleys, hills and mountains, you will admire landscapes as diverse as they are picturesque. During your hikes, you will be able to meet a little less than 300 species of vertebrates (mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish…). Ornithology enthusiasts can notably spot rare birds of prey, or small birds such as the spring wagtail, the elegant goldfinch or the pecker bunting. On the nature side, the Luberon can also be discovered by taking the Voie Verte du Calavon. From Robion to Castellet, this 37-kilometre cycle route follows the route of an old railway line. The Luberon is home to picturesque classified villages, which you can easily visit from Roussillon.

Ôkhra – Ecomuseum of ocher

The former ochre factory in Roussillon allows visitors to discover the history of ochre, the coloured pigments used to colour houses, clothes, objects, prepare paints for paintings, etc.

This museum is accessible to children and adults, and combines a visit with practical workshops. You should allow about 1h30 to visit the museum.
