Discovering the Luberon
The establishment of the Luberon Regional Natural Park was essential in view of the varied landscapes it shelters. Between cultivated and wooded areas, valleys and hills, you will admire landscapes as diverse as they are charming. Walking through the Park, you will be able to meet a little less than 300 species of vertebrates (mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish…). Ornithology enthusiasts can see rare birds of prey, or small birds such as the spotted woodpecker or the spring wagtail. The Luberon can also be discovered by bike. From Villars, you can set off on the paths and roads of the Park, to discover the landscapes and terroirs that characterise it. The villages of the Luberon each have a strong identity. Some of them belong to the very select club of the most beautiful villages of France: Ménerbes, Gordes, Lourmarin and Roussillon, Ansouis.
