In the center of the village of Maussane en Provence, nestled at the end of a pretty courtyard, you'll find the Bistrot Saint Roch restaurant.
Joan and Vincent have taken over this beautiful village house and, together with their young team, turned it into a welcoming restaurant and lively bistro – which certainly doesn’t mean second-rate food, quite the opposite. To put it simply, there’s a single set menu in the evening featuring cheese and coffee, though you can still choose from a selection of starters and main courses. Top marks for the vitello tonnato, the half pigeon—a classic and effective dish served with a rich gravy—or the sea bass fillet with bouillabaisse sauce.
