Description
Children's workshops, awareness-raising stands, competitions, conferences and other activities for the whole family will be offered by numerous players committed to biodiversity.
On the program:
- 9:30am: Launch of the competition: Fleurissons la ville - The most beautiful garden, terrace, alley and kitchen garden.
- 10 a.m.: Conference on soil life: How to have a living, resistant and sustainable soil by composting by Claire Serrano from Terres en Compost (RDV in front of the stage, opposite the Palais de l'Europe).
- 10:30 a.m.: Beeswax candle-making workshop by Terres de Sainte Lucie (ages 5 and up - Reservations 04 92 10 51 61 or [email protected])
- 10:45 a.m.: Kokedama creation workshop by Victoriya Petrone (Reservations on 04 92 10 51 61 or [email protected])
- 11am: Lecture: "From the origins of bonsai culture to the present day" by the Art Bonsaï Club association (RDV on their stand)
- 11:30am: Citrus grafting by "Terres de Sainte Lucie" (ages 12 and up - reservations 04 92 10 51 61 or [email protected])
- 11:45am: Sustainable lemon growing in Menton by Stéphane Constantin from APCM (Meet in front of the stage, opposite the Palais de l'Europe)
- 12pm: Workshop on aloe vera: its properties, cosmetic uses and food applications, followed by practical advice on potting by Terres en Compost
- 2pm: Lecture: "The magic of plants: prehistoric uses of today's plants": a cross between an archaeologist and an herbalist, by Almudena Arellano Alonso and Jessica Gigandet (RDV in front of the stage, opposite the Palais de l'Europe)
- 2pm: Beeswax candle-making workshop by "Terres de Sainte Lucie" (ages 5 and up - bookings 04 92 10 51 61 or [email protected])

- 4pm: Conference: Presentation of the "Instinct Animal" wildlife care center (RDV in front of the stage, opposite the Palais de l'Europe)
- 4:30 pm: Edible modeling clay workshop for 4 to 12 year-olds by Sylvie Pavoni from Kilucru06 (A parent must be present - Reservations at 04 92 10 51 61 or [email protected] Max 10 children)
- 4:45 pm: Photo Competition prize-giving ceremony
- 5:30 pm: End of the day
All day long :
- 1h/1h30 initiation to Bonsai culture for children - From 10 years old. Places are limited and must be booked in advance by calling 06.11.53.20.78 - A parent must be present.
- Discover the Instinct Animal Care Center through workshops on biodiversity and animals in distress.
- Workshops on the sounds of life and creation of masks for children on the different kingdoms (animal, vegetable, mineral) by Océane Creusvaux
- Creation of herbal teas by Jessica Gigandet from Gorbiologique
- Introduction to the traditional game of Mourra with the association Mourra dei quatre cantouns
- Art workshop with Aurore Emaille and her mobile laboratory
