Final "memory J. Rossi." This taurine event takes place every year on the second weekend of September. It was created in 1965 to symbolize the new friendship between the two previously opposed fraternities of the Madeleine and Saint Eloi. This event was born with the aim of combining taurine passion, a key element of the Châteaurenardais vernacular heritage and vegetable culture.Since 2005, the event has taken on a new lease of life. A nutrition forum is held by experts. Master chefs from France demonstrate culinary skills at the foot of a pyramid more than five meters high composed of fruits and vegetables from the Châteaurenardaise agriculture. The weekends will be punctuated by the release of bulls and pesas (musical groups). On Sunday, a giant meal to discover and taste local products awaits visitors in a particularly festive atmosphere. During the last edition this lunch enchanted more than 1,500 gourmets.
