On Christmas Eve, in a snow-covered bourgeois mansion, eight women are suspected of murdering the master of the house. In a large, snow-covered mansion, isolated in the countryside, preparations are underway to celebrate Christmas. Very quickly, the celebration turns to tragedy: in the morning, the head of the household, Marcel, is found stabbed to death in his bedroom. Surrounding him, eight women close to him—his wife, his two daughters, his sister, his sister-in-law, his mother-in-law, the maid, and the governess—find themselves trapped in a day that turns into a gripping investigation.
