For this latest edition of the printemps de l'art contemporain 2026, Territoires partagés has invited visual artist Anaïs Touchot and Francesco Finizio for a residency/exhibition.
Anaïs Touchot, Here, Farm Farm looks like a small, cheerful, authentic farm, but behind the décor lies a voracious, globalized, opaque industry. The fields produce Capri Sun rather than fruit, and the painted facades evoke local, small-scale agriculture, while masking systems of extraction, overproduction and dependency. Farm Farm thus composes a world where the artifice of childhood meets that of capitalism: a seductive decor that seeks to make us forget what it really produces. I think this is also what brings my work closer to Francesco's: this way of constructing meaning through juxtaposition, fragments and uneven language.
Francesco Finizio, There is no story, I work from the middle, fatally unaware of what was the beginning and what will be the end. "I am a middleman.
