The village of Aureille invites you to its traditional Votive Festival from 12 to 17 August!
The Aureille Village Festival is organised by the local council and the village’s associations.
During this traditional festival, you can enjoy a variety of activities typical of Provençal festivals: bull runs through the streets (abrivado and bandido), Camargue bull races, bull race with a swimming pool, a cart parade (carreto ramado), a community meal (aioli), a dance, a pétanque competition…

9.30 pm – Arena: taù race (uncastrated bulls)
* Thursday 13 August
9.30 pm – Avenue Mistral: bandido
* Friday 14 August
11 am – Village centre: cart parade of the Carreto Ramado di Cigaloun d’Aureio
6.30 pm – Avenue Mistral: pony abrivado
9.30 pm – Grand public ball with the Newzik orchestra
* Saturday 15 August
12.30 pm to 5.30 pm – Place de l’Horloge: Color & Mouss’ Party
8 pm – Place de l’Horloge: thonade (Provençal dish made with tuna)
* Sunday 16 August
1.00 pm – Stadium: traditional aioli meal
5.00 pm – Arena: bull race with a pool
* Monday 17 August
3.30 pm – Boules ground: mêlée boules competition
