In an age of artificial intelligence that thinks for us, robots that assist us, and all these new technologies that enslave us, do humans still need to use their brains? With a healthy dose of self-deprecating humor, Basclo ponders the impact on our lives of all these technologies that are supposed to make us smarter but which, in the end, actually dumb us down! In a divided society, where we’ve all too often put our brains in “airplane mode,” perhaps it’s time to reconnect with one another before our intelligence becomes permanently “superficial”!
