Interactive Stand-Up
“A unique artistic experience, where humor and the magic of performance become the greatest allies of resilience.” — The Var Departmental Council Magazine.
On stage alone, Philippe Boronad creates a participatory and zany stand-up show where anything is possible. The actor set out to create this show for children, to help them discover—if not what theater is, then at least what an actor is and what the magical space of a stage represents: a place of freedom and connection.
A place of rebellion, at times. Drawing as much on the art of storytelling as on the skill of improvisation, the actor brings to life a multitude of characters from the world of theater: a three-headed dragon, a Black Knight, a tightrope walker, a prince, a witch, a white clown…. not to mention the one-of-a-kind Bob!
Drawn into an immersive and interactive experience, the audience becomes an active participant in the story that unfolds throughout the show. Intimacy, camaraderie, laughter, and shared madness are the hallmarks of this unclassifiable, high-energy stand-up performance.
