Description

Botanical Walk: An Immersion in Nature, Exploring Wild Plants, the Local Landscape, and the Stories They Tell.
Join a botanical walk around the small village of Brenon to discover 10 wild plants that reflect the ecology and history of the Haut Var region. These species reveal the nature of the local terrain as well as the ecological footprint left by centuries of pastoralism, offering a deeper understanding of how landscapes and plants evolve together. Set off with Rhiannon Lewis, your guide—a plant lover and educator who has lived in the region for over 25 years. Discussions about observations made during the outing. Meet with the village residents and farmers to talk about this preserved area. Packed lunch with the participants. CERTIFIED EVENT Limited seating
