Bullfighting Festival

In partnership with the Peña taurine El Galo and the Association Grésouillaise Culture, Fêtes et Traditions, the Commune of Saint-Étienne du Grès is honouring Spanish bullfighting and the Camargue race in its more than one hundred year old arenas for the 7th year Bullfighting Feria programme: Thursday 14 May: Spanish Day 11.00 am: Capea by the Arles Bullfighting School 1.00 pm: Musical aperitif and lunch in the town hall courtyard 5.00 pm: Fiesta campera Featuring: Tibo Garcia, André Lagravère ‘El Galo’, Christian Majero, Solal and Lisares. The novillos are from the Barcelo (Quissac), Malaga (Maussane) and La Paluna (Saint-Gilles) ganaderias 7 pm: Musical aperitif and tapas in the town hall courtyard Friday 15 May: Camargue Day 10.00 am: Inflatable bullring and virtual reality headsets, Town Hall square 10.30 am: Talent scouting for young people, at the bullring, for boys and girls aged 13 and over 1.00 pm: Lunch organised by ‘O Bistrot gourmand’, Town Hall square 4.00 pm: Course à l’Avenir Raseteurs: Allam, Boudiaf, Champetier, Chevalier, Laurier, Zekraoui Bulls from the Fabre-Mailhan and Layalle herds and 6 trainees Bandido after the race (arena  pharmacy) 7.30 pm: Bodega organised by “O Bistrot gourmand”
