Great fun for all the family and friends.
The craziest race of the summer, featuring boats made solely from cardboard and sticky tape.
• The concept: sail down the Guisane in a boat made solely from cardboard and sticky tape.
Board at the mini-golf course and finish at the landing stage before the bridge.
Free, for ages 12 and over. Parents must be present on the day of the event (to sign consent forms).
Compete solo or in a team – mixed, multiple or otherwise!
• Boat building:
The idea is to create an original boat using only cardboard and adhesive tape.
Only compostable adhesive tape may be used – sold for €3 per roll by Rafting Expérience
Cardboard must be recycled; not provided.
Programme
• 1.00 pm: Meet at the base by the Pontillas lake for the boat-building session. You may arrive with your boats already built.
• 4.30 pm: Boat inspection
• 5.00 pm: First race, followed by the prize-giving ceremony at the Pontillas lake
• 6.30 pm: Festive evening at the Bez Youth Hostel, with DJ Disco Turbo. Food and drinks available on site
