Description
In the summer of 1543, life was quiet for the fishermen of Nice, when suddenly hundreds of Turkish galleys appeared on the horizon...
The King of France and his ally, the Ottoman Sultan, attack the County of Nice to wrest it from the hands of the Duke of Savoy! A simple washerwoman, known to all as "Maufacha", but known to history as Catherine Ségurane, grabs a beater and sets out to repel the Franco-Turkish armies. A colorful comedy in the purest tradition of masks and commedia dell'arte, featuring such "guests of honor" as François I, Jean-Baptiste Grimaldi, Soliman the Magnificent and the terrible Barbarossa... With the exceptional participation of Catarina Segurana, her husband Carlou and her husband's nephew, little Pétou!
Enjoy with the whole family with a piece of pissaladière or a good pan bagnat!
