Description
With "Cerises aux cœurs", sculptor Jean-Louis Landraud invites visitors on a sensitive stroll, where fragmented bodies, voids and aerial lines converse with the Mediterranean landscape. His bronze works, both anchored and suspended, play with light, wind and space. The cherry, a symbolic element present in the artist's sculptures, emerged as an intimate revelation, embodying a simple, universal poetry.
"Cherries, bearers of renewal and spring... Cherries to eat, not out of hunger but out of greed, just for the pleasure of it... Slowly, very slowly, and thanks to cherries, dreams are reinvesting my life."
At the heart of this exhibition, the cherry becomes much more than a motif: it is a symbol of life and renewal.
Installed in the open air, in the heart of the village of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, the sculptures are an invitation to a free, contemplative encounter.
