Description
As part of the Saint Peter's Day celebrations, the Venetian Rowers Association is organizing this challenge with the participation of the general public, about fifteen people in 2 categories (Men and Mixed 3 girls minimum).
Training sessions are planned, three weeks before the event, in order to master the technical gesture and the synchronisation of movements.
The traditional oar is practiced on boats of 7m30 with 6 rowers and a coxswain. The boat is reminiscent of the old fishing tips, but here the hull is made of plastic, the benches, the planks and the oars are made of wood.
