Synopsis: Ari, an Israeli film director, recovers a memory from a dark period in his life, during the Lebanese Civil War. A silent, haunting image: himself, a young soldier, swimming off the coast of Beirut with two comrades. He then feels a vital need to uncover the truth about this chapter of history and about himself, and decides to travel the world interviewing some of his former comrades-in-arms. The deeper Ari delves into his memory, the more the forgotten images resurface.
