Ilyes leads a happy life in the suburbs of Roubaix. The only problem: the baccalaureate exam. After failing twice, this is his last chance to pass and finally make his parents proud.

But a fire breaks out during the mock final exams, and he is accused of starting it... Expelled from his high school, he is forced to leave his neighborhood and attend the only school that will accept him: the Saint-Albert-le-Grand Catholic boarding school in Burgundy. Caught between a culture clash and a quest for redemption, Ilyes must overcome his own prejudices—as well as those of others.
